MOTIVATION AND HOW TO CREATE IT (Good Boss/Bad Boss)
Many of my clients come in complaining of an absence of motivation, they are not motivated enough for work, to not being able to diet and quit smoking, or to get up in the morning. They are looking to obtain both negative and positive motives, and motivations for doing something, while negative motivations are geared towards not doing things (not smoking, for example). In most cases, the approach they've attempted before (unsuccessfully) was to push themselves to the limit. This happens through internal dialogues that are negative that includes: "You lazy person, you'll never get anywhere;" "you have to do this whether you like it or not;" or "no one will ever love you until you do." Sometimes, they've attempted to convince themselves with bribes or other tricks, which works for a few days but is not successful sooner or later. Sometimes, they have gotten an additional person to make them feel pressured by using a motivating group, hypnosis, parent or substitute parent and will tell them on their behavior. This third method works well for certain individuals for a long time. But the purpose of this persuasion is to overpower the natural processes of the client, and the people who visit me because they've rebelled against the authority of this particular group or individual, and realize that they're unable to do what they would like to due to their rebellion! Truth is, if we believe somebody else is pushing us around in a negative way, we're not likely to cooperate. Particularly when the "pushy person" is oneself!! ! For more detail please visit:- https://dario-item.com/ https://antiguabarbuda.com/ https://stylenextstep.com/It is the truth that regardless of how savage and angry these people are at themselves, they are unable to be motivated. Together my clients and me have had tremendous, verifiable success with these problems, and every client who worked with me was successful in achieving motivation by and both "negative motivation" and "positive motivation". The reason for such success is that motivating people is simple. Motivation is a result out of appreciation and celebration. I like to state it in equation form: celebration and appreciation equals motivation. By this I mean that should you discover the way to feel grateful for what you've already accomplished and also to be grateful for your previous successes (and believe em, there is a way), you will find you are "magically" motivated to accomplish more. There is no struggle, and you can accomplish it all because of the pure fun of being successful! To show what I mean, I will describe two possible employers. There is the "bad boss" and the "good boss". The Bad Boss -Performs through intimidation and critique... Never praises. (you only know that you're doing great because the boss doesn't say anything) It can be very unpleasant if you make mistakes. You are a source of ridicule when you are in front of other people Do not think you've done enough. If you think you're lazy, you're dishonest Modifies the rules arbitrarily Is never content or satisfied (get the picture?) The Good Boss -Praises Frequently -Always lets you know when you're doing good Ask them what you're looking for whenever you've made a mistake; It's extremely useful. Are you concerned about your health as well as your work efficiency Assume you're looking to complete an excellent job. Helps you feel an integral part of the team Then treats you as a valued human being Is aware of the responsibilities that you are expected to perform. Both bosses share the same goal: to accomplish their tasks. However, there is a big difference in the success of their respective management styles. Consider your possible response to these two styles of management. The workplace of the boss who is bad is characterized by tension and anger. They work to keep the boss off their backs and consequently goof-off whenever he/she is not in the office. They are not efficient, because they don't have the motivation to do anything other than to avoid the boss's anger. They are operating in a mental state we call "adaptation", which is determined to keep someone (usually one who is angry or savage) out of their way. They are not loyal to anything except their pay or perhaps even each other for that matter, as prisoners who have been mistreated are loyal to one another when confronting the prisoner. Offices that are characterised by inefficiency and insanity. If the boss demands hours of work, they will be met with resistance. If you were working for this boss How do you be feeling? Would you show up to work every day happy? Would you like to volunteer for extra work? Do you anticipate each new task? Most likely not. In other words, you will not feel highly motivated If you did, wouldn't you? On contrary, employees of the good boss tend to focus on themselves and the work they do. They are confident about their achievements, and eager to learn more and be more successful. If the boss is gone there is no change in the work that goes on, because people are in a state of motivation, and are being gratified by their feeling of accomplishment. If the boss asks for overtime, they will be accepted with a favorable response. Take a second and picture yourself in this scenario. How would you feel? Would you be eager to impress your boss? Would you be eager to see his/her reaction to the latest work? Would you want to help out in the event of extra work? Most likely, you would-you might feel enthusiastic and motivated and eager to get started each day. Note the difference between your energy levels in the two situations. Which boss would you rather be working for? Hope it's equally obvious to you, as it is to me. I'd prefer the better manager (just the names I've picked for the two styles may have made it obvious.) In the daily tasks and situations of our lives, we become our own bosses, regardless of whether we are aware about it, or even aware. We are able to choose which kind of a boss we wish to be to ourselves. If you make the same choice as the majority people I work with (and myself) have, then you decide to be the right manager to you. This means that you are taught to treat yourself with respect and understanding, and be generous with your praise, and gentle when you make corrections. Then you will accomplish your goals with fulfillment and pride, and plenty of happiness. You'll feel motivated and you'll wonder why you've never realized how easy it was. All of this can be accomplished by using two "magic motivators": celebration and appreciation. Most of us know how to show appreciation to others. However, in the case of ourselves, we feel awkward and uncomfortable when we give too much praise. Being advised not to be a bragster or to get caught up in our youth have taken their toll, and self-appreciation comes awkwardly. But, if you consider motivation to be an attractive trait self-appreciation is a must and desirable too. It's good to know that you can develop this trait. If you would like to improve your self-esteem but it's difficult for you, I recommend practicing with different ways. Many of my clients have had fun to buy gold star stickers (just as they did in elementary school) and award them to themselves for jobs well done, or any achievements they wish to celebrate. The stars slapping on the calendar every day can be highly effective. Go ahead, award yourself lots! Other types of stickers are also available. One of my clients thanked herself for the success she achieved in her eating program with small stickers that depict jelly beans chocolates, and ice-cream cones! The dessert was a token of praise, not calories. Additionally, it is effective to remember back to childhood parties and celebrations. Some of my customers were told never to be loud due to her grandmother's illness. She was however allowed to play the accordion as loud as she wanted to when she played. Today it feels as a moment of celebration and occasion to let her voice sound off. The early birthday celebrations or holiday events that were special could also be tapped for ideas. If Mom always cooked a turkey in preparation for a big occasion and set up the dining room using the best china, or a champagne bottle was served, then those ingredients can indicate celebration and accomplishment. Crepe paper streamers, banners, candles, balloons, flowers, special clothing (your most stylish shoes, a new hat) gatherings of your friends, award certificates, trophies and prizes are all ways to recognize achievements that are worth celebrating. Try using some or all of the above items at occasions you want to boost motivation. If you're anxious when you start the new job, celebrate your day by drinking bubbly apple juice or diet cola , served with champagne flutes of your very best, and candles on the dining table. Place some golden stars in your schedule for getting through a difficult homework assignment. Buy your little girl an award engraved with her name for cleaning the room over the course of a whole month. There's nothing such as too much praise or celebration. Do you feel there is too much motivation? Sure, but the more the merrier. Flowers placed on the table to show how much you appreciate yourself can do quite a bit to make you feel more content every day. A novel that is a new and savage romance can be a great reward/celebration to read your technical texts. The most important thing is that recognizing your accomplishments will inspire you to work more. Be creative in your celebrations, have fun. Enjoy a special friendship by having an informal picnic at lunchtime, and even a balloon. But most importantly, be a lot of fun. That's the objective! If you come across someone who takes command and dictates to you what you must do or makes comments without asking how you are doing things incorrectly, or in any other way, designates them as the leader on your behalf, you may be noticing that your motivation has shifted. Be sure to let them go as your boss. This is YOUR life, and you are doing whatever it is you want to. It is your responsibility to provide no other reason but yourself. Once you have fired this self-appointed boss, you may need to remember what you have accomplished without that kind of assistance. Be proud of your independence, your spirit, your willingness to be responsible for yourself. It is also possible to make interesting books, articles as well as TV experts, gurus, etc. to be your boss. In this case, you will again find your motivation flagging. These aids to information are helpful, but only if you are able to keep them in view. Remember, the boss receives details on how to handle things, is trained, and seeks assistance when necessary, BUT the boss is still in charge. The information is there to be used, but no expert (no none, not even the therapist) can tell if this information is appropriate for you. If you remember who the boss is, then you will utilize the information carefully, avoiding anything there is that isn't in line with your personality or style. You will use it to aid and advance your goals, and to facilitate the celebration of your accomplishments. If you are experiencing a lack of motivation flagging, look around for how you are doing at being your boss. Are you displaying a motivating and encouraging style? Have you allowed someone else to take over your authority? Is there some appreciation you need?
