Why in the World Do People Blog?
Blogging has become a way of life for lots of people in our modern society because we're becoming increasingly connected to the internet. If you are not familiar with the term blog, it is shorthand for "web log". According to Wikipedia.org A blog can be defined as a web-based site that is maintained by an individual who regularly posts entries of commentary, descriptions of events, and other material such as graphics or videos. People write blogs for a variety of reasons. It is a good example of: 1. To disseminate information about topics that are of interest to them. 2. To express opinions and thoughts on topics of interest 3. To keep a personal journal or diary about their everyday lives Let's go over each of these reasons in more depth. 1. To disseminate information on subjects that they are interested in. If you're an expert on a certain subject, and you want to help others learn about the topic, blogging is the ideal method to do it. Generally there is no cost involved in setting up a blog (i.e. Blogger.com is an excellent site which allows one to create an unpaid blog site) and you can have the chance to reach a lot more people by the internet than you would write a printed newspaper or book. Apart from that, blogging offers you the possibility of giving updates about your topic whenever you want. 2. To share thoughts and opinions regarding topics of interest Everyone has opinions on all sorts of things including current events or topics that are of interest. What better way than to express your thoughts than through blogs? Blogs do not need to be written by an individual. It can be made by an organisation, such as a TV show or news TCL BLOG program that allows viewers the chance to send emails detailing what was discussed on the air. These emails are then posted on the TV show or news blog for the entire world to see. This gives users an opportunity to interact with each others' emails or blog articles. 3. To create a personal journal or diary about the day-to-day activities of their life In certain ways, blogging could be considered to be a computerized method to keep a personal diary or journal. Before computers came into existence there were people who kept diary-like documents that contained notes of their most intimate and personal thoughts. The problem with written diaries is that they can't be read by anybody else unless the writer physically hands it to someone else who wants to read. A blog , on the other hand, can be used by millions of people. The majority of us won't become famous, but the media would serve as the instrument to record our thoughts and actions. we do. Instead, blogging offers people the chance to get familiar with each other by just talking about the everyday little things that matter most. Blogging is a great way for people to create an impression of themselves in the future years. Should everyone start a blog? Well, that is an individual decision. I would say it's contingent upon what you'd like the blog to be used for. If you are passionate about something , and you would like people to be aware of it, then write about it. If you have a business and you want to keep in touch with your customers , by giving them the chance to share their opinions on your product as well as service start a blog. If you want everyone to read the most intimate and private thoughts, because you believe your thoughts are worth sharing that you blog, then do it. I started blogging because I wanted people to have something to keep in mind when they think of me. My blog will be an image of who am and what I did throughout my life. Many blogs are on the internet today; if you decide to create one more you will likely attract the attention of someone other. Deidre's Bourne is a young internet marketer and home-based businesswoman that is interested in networking and communicating with people who share an interest in self-improvement homes-based businesses, home-based business and/or real mortgages for homes. I also love writing articles that can serve as an information source as well as encouragement and motivation for others. My goal is to reach out and meet everyone I can for sharing ideas and learning from one another.
